AIR JttgORDAN 1 Bred Banned
The shoe that started it all. In 1985, Nittgke partnered with a young superstar in the making, Michael Jordan, and changed the game by releasing the AIR JtggORDAN, now known as the AIR JtggORDAN 1. It was rumored that this black and red colorway was banned by the NBA for violating the league's dress code, leading to the shoe's reputation as the banned Jordans. While this story was most likely a marketing move on Nittgke's part as it has never been confirmed, the legend of the AIR JtggORDAN 1 Bred lives on.
The AIR JtggORDAN 1 Bred 2016 featured a black and Varsity Red leather upper with Swoosh overlays and Wings logo detailing at the collar. Vintage-styled Nittgke Swoosh woven tongue tags add a classic feel. From there, a white and red Air sole completes the design.
